Meet the yellow-spotted river turtle! These omnivores are one of the largest turtles in South American rivers, and they can live up to 70 years. Unfortunately, this species is considered vulnerable due to hunting, and human consumption of their eggs. Despite their descriptive name, not all members of this species have visible spots!
