This is my #1 tip for feeling glutes in a step up🙌 Think step DOWN rather than step UP. Step ups are absolutely one of my favorite lengthened movements for glutes. I often hear that people struggle to feel their glutes in this movement. To bias the glutes we want to maximize hip flexion. This means you’re going to want to lean forward and push your butt back.
