Sitka's Enrichment (Bald Eagle)

Sitka, a Bald Eagle and Raptor-in-Residence here at the Alaska Raptor Center, is back after her summer at our Ketchikan facility! Sitka was sent to the Alaska Raptor Center after being hit by a car in Ninilchik, a village on the Kenai Peninsula. She suffered from multiple injuries, including a hole in her right patagium, or the fleshy part of the wing, and severe damage to her right hallux, or rear toe.
