Three years ago today, Highway 1 was blocked by landslides both to the north and south of us and we were totally blocked in. We were forced to close the business for the first time in history until a month later, when the road to the south opened. Today, we’re grateful that this latest storm has passed and are looking forward to putting this three-year closure to the north in our rear-view mirror.
