Pulling Bulls. We pulled bulls out of 5 bunches of cows for a total of 14 bulls. Citti, June, 2 good mares and myself did 3 bunches and Jordan and Conway helped with 2 bunches. Pulling bulls. The bulls stay in with the cows for 45 days. It gives them two full cycles to bred the cows. It took two half days to pull 14 bulls from 5 different bunches of cows. A few bulls got a little naughty but we got them all home and no one got injured. The reason we pull bulls after 45 days is to keep the calves more uniformed since we sell right off the cow.
