How do you troubleshoot ECM motors? First step in any troubleshooting procedure is breaking down the components and verifying individual operation. With an ECM motor you have additional variables such as line voltage, control voltage, motor, board, etc. When seeing an issue I usually start by visual inspection and measuring amp draw if the motor is spinning. Then I verify line voltage and ensure control voltage is present. If you have all of those within MFR specifications but the motor still do
