CITV Local News Tuesday 9 December 2025 Last Saturday, six World War One Cook Islands Soldier Headstones inside a family burial ground in Avatiu were re-lettered, giving them a brand new look. This is all part of the Granite Headstone Re-lettering Workshop ran by the Cook Islands Military History Research Project Team of Cate Walker, Paul Morrissey and Paula Paniani.
