A young barn owl, just over a year old, found itself in a precarious situation after sustaining a fracture to its left wing. The majestic bird underwent successful surgery at a government veterinary hospital in Madurai on Thursday. The injured owl was discovered near a house in Viswanathapuram, prompting swift action by local wildlife warrior M K Shivaharshan from Oorvanam. With the support of the forest department, the bird was quickly transported to the veterinary hospital. #animalrescue #barn
