Overnight, storms moved through outback parts of Western Australia, South Australia and the Northern Territory. While the storms moved over sparsely populated areas, they did manage to hit some rain gauges, with 15mm of rain and a 96 km/hr wind gust recorded at Giles in Western Australia.
