Jan 13, 2022 · It's a great multiplayer game. I guess it depends on how good you are at platformers. It is a lot easier than Super Mario 3 and so on. So if you're looking for a challenge, then it is not for you. Rayman Origins is a great game too, but the people I play games with (children) are not so good at these kind of games.

The 2nd new super Mario Bros Wii was something new because of 4 player co op and that was a big thing for a Mario game! The 3rd was NSMB 2 on the 3ds, while it was still good, it wasn't as much preferred, especially because of needing to buy a 2nd copy for local multiplayer which is a main thing these games were known for.

NSMB Wii is literally the most popular one of the four. It's not underrated at all. It's not really an improved Super Mario World either, since that game does everything so well. NSMB Wii is effectively a better New Super Mario Bros DS. Oh also the Koopalings returned in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga like 6 years before.
