The mission of the New Lenox Community Park District is to provide safe recreational opportunities through diverse programs, facilities, and open space, with the overall goal being improvement of the quality of life in our community.

The New Lenox Community Park District, located in Will County, Illinois, which serves both the Village of New Lenox and New Lenox Township, offers a wide variety of services to both residents and nonresidents. Some of the services offered are recreational programs, walking trails, fishing, parks, party rentals and golf.

Nonresident participants can register for New Lenox Community Park District programs beginning Monday, May 13. Additional fees for nonresidents may apply. We do not charge a nonresident fee for special events or bus trips.

Hibernia Park – New Lenox Community Park District
Hibernia Park presents a diverse array of amenities for visitors to enjoy, such as a 9-acre stocked lake, a half-mile paved walking trail equipped with fitness amenities, an ADA compliant Boat Dock, playground, sand volleyball court, our newly renovated Splash Pad, a putting green, and a newly constructed multi-purpose building.
History – New Lenox Community Park District
The New Lenox Community Park District, incorporated in 1969, is located in Will County and is 40 miles south of Chicago. The Park District serves residents living within the Village of New Lenox and New Lenox Township, which encompasses an area of approximately 32 square miles.
Rugby – New Lenox Community Park District
Rugby 101. Ages 9-13. Lincoln-Way Central High School Field House. Rugby is one of the fastest growing youth sports in America. Rugby 101 is a non-contact program that will teach new and experienced players the fundamentals of the game while focusing on skills development and game simulations.
