Moon Gallery
Moon Gallery is an international collaborative artwork and a gallery of ideas worth sending to the Moon. Moon Gallery aims to set up the first permanent museum on the Moon. Moon Gallery will launch 100 artefacts to the Moon within the compact format of 10 x 10 x 1cm plate on a lunar lander exterior panelling as early as 2025.

The Moon Gallery aims to become the first permanent, physical art gallery on the Moon. While planting the seeds of a future interplanetary culture on the Moon, we are working right here on Earth to bridge the gap between space science and art through meetings, workshops, art-science education, exhibitions, and conferences.
About – Museum of the Moon
Museum of the Moon is a touring artwork by UK artist Luke Jerram. Measuring seven metres in diameter, the moon features 120dpi detailed NASA imagery of the lunar surface. At an approximate scale of 1:500,000, each centimetre of the internally lit spherical sculpture represents 5km of the moon’s surface*.
