The 1st 3 years of existence the car was called a Honda Accord Crosstour. Almost positive Honda uses exact electrical on all three cars (Civic, Accord & Crosstour) experiencing this draining of the battery.

Answers. Yes, the transmission is a CVT and only Honda ATF DW-1 fluid should be used. CVT fluid is for CVT transmission while DW-1 is for automatic transmissions. Honda does not use specific CVT fluid for their CVT's. From the 2003 Honda Civic Hybrid owner's manual: Page 206-207 states--"Always use Honda ATF-Z1.
