The 830 complex was especially designed for the BSPP firefighter suit. It provides very good protection against flashovers, as the fabric creates an air bubble to protect the firefighter. The jacket and trousers are the result of an excellent collaboration between the Paris Fire Brigade and our Sioen Fire specialised departments.

The intervention suit is now red to improve the visibility of the firemen in tunnels. For this firefighter suit, the 538 Microrip complex is used, an assembly without a membrane to increase the comfort and reduce the risk heat stress.

A lower water vapour resistance, the garment has a better breathability. It has to be noted that suits without membrane are far more breathable (< 10m²Pa/W).

This gold firefighter jacket offers the same protection as the Paris Fire Brigade suit, but a removable hood was added. It can cover the helmet and increases escape time. In addition, to be able to help other firefighters more easily, a drag and rescue device was added on the collar.

There are two options to comply with this standard. First, making an EN 469 suit that is also in accordance with EN ISO 20471:2013. Second, you can wear an EN ISO 20471:2013 class 2 jacket.
