I have lost 300 pounds and the roll will most likely stay unless I have skin surgery. The idea of eating more calories to loose weight seemed strange to me at first. I refused to go over 950 a day and was burning anywhere from 1000 to 2000 calories a day. I finally started eating 1100-1250 a day and burning the same amount.

Stomach roll? Anybody else develop it after weight loss?
October 2015. Neldabg, I'm betting you just noticed it for the first time but it was already there. I don't think it developed from losing weight. You probably just noticed it because you're thinking more about your body and its changing while on a weight loss program. Either way, congrats on your weight loss!

July 2019 edited July 2019. I feel like the B belly is more common on smaller and larger women than most of us think, but so many of us are pretty much experts at hiding and disguising it. And women who have a different "desirable" belly shape are way more likely to show it off, even if they're very overweight.

I have a roll of fat above my belly button that covers it, then my waist is smaller just around my belly button, with another roll of fat underneath. Does anyone else have this? What is it called? Did it go away? If it did what weight or size were you when you finally saw your belly button again? Lol! I'm 198 lbs and 5'4", size 14 or Xl/l shirt.
