5.5 week ultrasound - only saw sac and yolk - is this normal?
Dec 8, 2015 · Blood work at 5.5 weeks shows hcg in the 7000's but progesterone went down from 8 to 5. A sac and yolk are visible by ultrasound but doc does not know if I will miscarry. She is putting me on progesterone pills.

I’m a little worried because it was not seen on my ultrasound, and when I look up 5 week ultrasound they all have the yolk sac present. They said I may have ovulated later than I thought or the baby could have stopped growing. The nurse told us not to worry we'll check the ultrasound in a couple of weeks.
