The week after Burrow went down, Jamar Chase put up 31 in PPR. The overwhelming majority of Keenan Allen's work yesterday came after Herbert exited, which is a good sign. You never know what a backup is going to bring to the table. Easton Stick is not a stud, but I bet the fall off is less than what people are expecting.

After Week 2 I panicked about my runningbacks and I sold Keenan Allen high for Travis Etienne and Christian Watson which I thought was a solid trade. Post Week 3 and with hindsight bias I am so so so so so so so so stupid for making that trade. I SHOULD’VE waited.

Couldn't agree more! It's astonishing to see Keenan Allen, who is still an elite WR, slipping to the later rounds. Yes, there might be competition, but his consistent performance speaks volumes. Remember, experience often triumphs over raw talent. He's a steal with that ADP in my opinion.

Keenan McCardell put up 917 yards and 9 TD at age-35 Donald Driver put up 1061 yards and 6 TD at age-34. Also keep in mind the NFL was a lot less pass-heavy back in those days, which made those old WRs' stats stood out even more and make the recent premature decline of superstar WRs even more surprising.
