Jul 11, 2020 · I was charging my model 3 for A long trip this morning and I see this icon next to the battery icon. I have never seen it so I was wondering what it was? Outside temperature is about 45. Also notice the orange charging slider. Thanks.

Twisting red lines next to the Battery icon indicate that the Battery is actively heating up (including while charging or preparing to charge). See where your vehicle is located. View your vehicle’s estimated range.

Refer to the information on the vehicle touchscreen (navigate to Controls > Charging) or the mobile App (touch the Charging icon) for recommended daily and trip charging limits.

When charging, you can also touch the charge icon on the touchscreen to access charge settings.

Sep 17, 2024 · While Tesla doesn’t support any native actions for Control Center yet, you can create your own shortcut using Apple’s Shortcuts app and add it to Control Center (see below). The action can preheat/precool the cabin, start charging, unlock the vehicle or many others.

Feb 28, 2022 · That screen says that you are charging at 9kW (of power), you have added 13kWh worth of power to your car, and you are charging at 38amps, out of a possible charging speed of 38 amps (which is a strange max charging rate to be charging at), at 242 volts.
