Aug 12, 2006 · ive seen people grow with work lights. my friend stole a 1000 watt stand up worklight and just removed it from its pole and pointed it at the plants and worked like a charm. ive seen people complete plants with plain 75W flouresent bulbs. ive seen people complete grows with flouresent tubes even. if your plants start to stretch just buy some more.

Sep 8, 2011 · Reg bulbs no...give off light but no grow spectrum. There are 2 kinds of CFls they sell at Home Depot lowes, Walmart. One is 6500k called Daylight bulbs, other is 2700k Softwhite. Daylight for vegging, softwhite for flowering. Veging you can do 24/7 lights, flowering has to be 12/12. No 12/12 no flowering..no bud.

Dec 17, 2016 · Lights always have a recommended coverage area. 4x4 is a common size. 8x8 is 4 4x4 areas. Buy 4 lights that will cover 4x4 and you'll be fine. Platinum makes the p9xml2 4x4 fixture. You could run 4 of those. They recommend two p600's for a 4x4 area most times. I grow with platinum and for the price I can't recommend them. I own a p900 and a p450.
