Then when I wanted an AR in 300 Blackout, I had my gunshop order me a Diamondback in 300 Blackout. All three have been the most accurate out of the box ARs I have shot. I have yet to have the first problem with any of them.

300 Blackout subs from a 16" barrel - what a difference!
Dec 16, 2023 · So I took my stock 16" Diamondback AR to the range to shoot 300 Blackout subsonics to see if the results would be the same or different from my 8" & 9" barrels shooting the same loads - well I did reduce the charge for the 16" to be sure they would remain subsonic. So just as a refresh let's look at the results for the 9".

Anybody having accuracy issues with 300 BLK in 8"-9" barrels???
Dec 14, 2023 · I ended up dumping that upper for a Diamondback upper with an 8” barrel. That weapon will shoot a group at 50 yards that I can cover easily with a quarter or nickel possibly If I toss out the occaisional flyer. But that AR pistol I consider only to shoot mainly supersonic ammo, although it can shoot subsonic ammo as well, un-suppressed.

My local dealer recommends a Great Lakes Firearms and Ammunition gun, but I have zero knowledge about GLFA.

Reviews for the Gen 4 were mostly positive with some bugs reported mainly in the earlier Gen 4s when they first showed up in about 2019.
