The WXII 12 First Warning Weather Team is carefully monitoring a large winter storm that will impact North Carolina and Virginia on Sunday and Monday.

Some longer-range weather models are showing a storm developing over the central U.S. and taking aim at New England by next Saturday or Sunday with snow or wintry mix.
