Shannon Sharpe has settled a $50 million lawsuit filed by a woman accusing him of rape and sexual assault during a two-year relationship. Both sides acknowledged the relationship was consensual and tumultuous.

It appears that Shannon Sharpe can now close this highly controversial chapter of his life.

However, the former NFL star’s current lawyer claimed he tried to settle out of court for around $10 million before he took over as his attorney.
