The world loves Astro Bot, and now it's a question of how PlayStation and the industry respond to its glowing praise.

The Game Awards just wrapped, and among all the announcements – including the Witcher 4 with Ciri as protagonist, an Okami sequel announcement, an Elden Ring multiplayer spinoff, and Naughty Dog's new game Intergalactic – some awards were given out to games and creators.

Game Awards are upon us. The big night for the gaming industry kicks off at 7:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. PT at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and Astro Bot came into the ceremony with a leading seven nominations apiece. Baldur’s Gate 3 and Alan Wake 2 dominated last year’s Game Awards, with Alan Wake scoring three wins and Baldur’s Gate taking six, including Game of the Year.

Game of the Year winner Astro Bot is one hell of a platformer with plenty of creative and thrilling levels to complete throughout its campaign.
