The Tennessee Volunteers finished their regular season on a slide, losing 6 of their last 7 series to end the year after dropping 2 of 3 to Arkansas last weekend. That put Tennessee in eighth place in the SEC going into the SEC Tournament in Hoover next week.

During the regular season, freshman right-handed pitcher Brayden Krenzel (2-0) appeared in 16 games, including two starts, for the Vols. He pitched 28.2 innings and recorded 37 strikeouts. Krenzel allowed 30 hits (two doubles, one triple, two home runs), 13 runs (12 earned), 16 walks, zero wild pitches and hit three batters in 2025.
