Macdonald's defense will attempt to put pressure on Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy, who's expected to enter his first season as a starter in 2025. The Seahawks already ranked No. 10 in the NFL with 45 sacks last season and signed four-time Pro Bowl defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence in free agency.

The NFL released the 2025 schedule, and the Seahawks will start the season at home against the 49ers and will play four prime-time games.

Seahawks will see many big-name faces from Washington, including both first-round rookie selected in last month's NFL Draft
