Dell just launched its new Alienware Area-51 lineup of gaming PCs today. Currently, it's available in only two configurations - both paired with an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K and GeForce RTX 5080 GPU - starting at a bonkers price of $4,449.99. Don't expect to get it right away either; Dell estimates this system to arrive at door by April 22.

More RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 gaming PCs are available at Newegg, and you'll find this ABS Eurus Aqua Gaming PC with an RTX 5080 is $300 off. I'm not sure how we're seeing a discount so soon, but I'm not complaining. In fact, there's even an ABS Kaze Ruby Gaming PC with an RTX 5080 for as low as $2,499 thanks to the price cut.

It's safe to say that Nvidia 's RTX 5080 is currently out of bounds when it comes to any potential purchases due to extremely limited availability (and issues with scalpers, predictably) - and that's why this pre-built gaming PC from Dell should be on your radar if you're intent on diving into the RTX 5000 experience as soon as possible.

Handheld gaming PCs are great. But they’re not powerful, at least not compared to full-sized gaming desktops. But then again, there’s nothing stopping you from plugging in a desktop GPU — Asus even makes some just for that purpose.
