The goaltender who became a fan favorite after replacing Original Misfit Marc-Andre Fleury in the summer of 2021 has not played for the Golden Knights since the 2021-22 season.

Goalie Robin Lehner failed to report to the Vegas Golden Knights, forcing the club to weigh its options regarding a player who has not played in more than two years because of a hip injury.

The Vegas Golden Knights have been without Robin Lehner for two entire seasons due to injury. Vegas expected the goaltender to miss a third consecutive season, as well. Lehner is still not expected to suit up and skate this season.
