An attorney for Microsoft has said that “nobody really wants a data center in their backyard.” The comments were made by Lyndi Stone, principal corporate counsel at Microsoft, who was speaking on a webinar hosted by law firm Norton Rose Fulbright titled “Data centers: Construction, contracts and debt.”
