Storm Eowyn to bring 90mph winds as Met Office issue danger to life weather warning
Storm Éowyn is forecast to make landfall in Ireland late on Thursday before moving on to the rest of the UK on Friday according to Met Office models. The storm will bring gusts of 80mph to coastal areas and 60mph inland with potential for a danger to life caused by flying debris.

Met Office weather warning issued for Wednesday morning as motorists advised to make checks
A weather warning covering the whole of the North-east was put in place this morning. Teessiders woke to find the area covered by a thick fog, with a weather warning in place until 11.00am today, January 22. The Met Office yellow warning says that fog patches may cause some travel disruption.
