Penn State head football coach James Franklin wasn’t thrilled about the fact that the Big Ten Football Media Days were held in Las Vegas and he let the media know about it. Franklin talked about the fact that the conference should have the media days in “Big 10 country” rather than an outpost like Las Vegas.

“Everybody has to play the same number of conference games,” Franklin said. “This ain’t that hard. Everybody should be playing eight, or everybody should be playing nine.”

Franklin told reporters Tuesday that moving to a nine-game schedule was perhaps "the worst decision the Big Ten ever made."
