HDFC Bank is expected to report net profit of ₹16,097 crore in the third quarter of FY25, registering a fall of 1.7% from ₹16,372.5 crore in the year-ago period.

FY25: Investors will be keeping a keen eye on the results as the stock of HDFC Bank has fallen 8.62% in the last month.

India's HDFC Bank on Wednesday reported third-quarter profit largely in-line with analysts' estimates, helped by an increase in net interest income (NII). The country's biggest private lender posted a standalone net profit of 167.

HDFC Bank reported a 2.2 per cent year-on-year (YoY) rise in its standalone net profit to ₹16,735.50 crore for Q3FY25.

HDFC Bank on Wednesday clocked a slight increase in its net profit in the October-December quarter in the current 2024-25 fiscal year (FY25). The private lender clocked a profit of Rs 16,736 crore in the third quarter of FY25,

The bank saw both net profit and income on interest drop year-on-year during the third quarter of the financial year 2024-25.

Axis Securities expects HDFC Bank to report a 2.2 per cent year-on-year (YoY) rise in net profit at Rs 16,737 crore for the December quarter compared with Rs 16,373 crore in the same quarter last year.
