A lucky lottery ticketholder in Arizona struck gold on Friday night's Mega Millions drawing, winning a $113 million jackpot. The winner matched all six white balls and the gold Mega Ball to win the jackpot,

The Mega Millions lottery jackpot was an estimated $20 million with a cash option of $8.9 million for Tuesday night's drawing, according to the Mega Millions website. The jackpot was last won on Jan. 17 when a lottery player in Arizona lottery player won a $112 million jackpot.

Two Mega Millions tickets sold in California just missed the $20 million jackpot but won $14,368 each, lottery officials said. The tickets matched four of five winning numbers plus the Mega Ball in the drawing Tuesday, Jan. 21, the California Lottery said.
