Deputies dubbed it a “meat heist.” Two people made off with $1,200 in roasts, steaks and ribs from a Safeway supermarket in Cupertino, the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office said in a Jan. 5 news release. The haul included ribeyes and other prime cuts, deputies said.
