There may be a battle on the field to be the best in New York City, but Yankees captain Aaron Judge just quieted rumors about animosity between him and new Mets star Juan Soto. Speaking to NJ.com columnist Bob Klapisch, Judge revealed he had FaceTimed Soto this week to check in with his former teammate and friend.

As it turns out, Soto didn't ghost Judge and the Yankees after all. In fact, the two remain friends: Just a day after Soto homered in his first spring training game as a Met, he got a FaceTime call from Judge to catch up and see how things were going with his new team.
