Workers begin demolition on the McDonalds building at 1305 S. First Street on March 1st, 2018. Demolition and construction of a new, larger building will take about four months.

The building is eight stories and only about 32,000 square feet, its small floors and windows unappealing to many of today’s companies. It’s mostly vacant, but with a jeweler on the ground floor.
