Edelbrock's rebuild kit comes with everything needed to freshen a tired carburetor—gaskets, needles, seats, accelerator pump, and more.

The pump shot is changed by adjusting the location of the pump rod. When the stroke is lengthened, we increase the amount of fuel sprayed into the bores by the accelerator pump.

Prior to Run No. 2, we adjusted the Edelbrock carburetor's accelerator pump rod to see if we could eliminate the flat spot. We were marginally successful.

Pump nozzle sizes areavailable from 0.025 to 0.052 inch. Whenever a 0.040-inch or largeraccelerator-pump nozzle is installed, the "hollow" pump-nozzle screw (PN26-12) should also be used.
