Construction of Riverfront Plaza, a park along the St. Johns River, began in July 2023. Phase one is expected to be completed at the end of 2025.

A long-awaited splash pad installation at Beckett Park should be completed late this month or early next month. But it won’t open until spring, weather permitting.

Webb County will match a $585,000 award from Texas Parks and Wildlife Dept. to fund splash pads in three precincts, totaling $1.17 million.
