Villa Park paid an emotional tribute to Gary Shaw before and during Saturday’s derby with Wolves. Family members and former team-mates of Shaw were on the pitch prior to kick-off as a minute’s applause took place for the League title and European Cup winner, who died on Monday at the age of 63.

Aston Villa legend Brian Little has paid tribute to European Cup champion Gary Shaw after his passing at the age of 63. Shaw was in a serious condition in hospital after suffering injuries from a fall. He is regarded as one of the best forwards to have ever played for Villa after scoring 79 goals in 213 appearances.
