Some of the best-value heli-ski experiences in the world, family-friendly slopes and excellent on-piste dining options make Italy’s mountain resorts a firm favourite.

Deep inside Europe’s “other” mountain range, the Pyrenees, Baqueira-Beret is Spain’s largest ski resort. It has recently played host to multiple Freeride World Tour events and is famous for both its freeride and on-piste skiing. The resort is known for catering to a luxury crowd but is still quite affordable, especially by North American standards.
