Big Bear’s bald eagle chicks, Sunny and Gizmo, are about to take their first flights, with Sunny already hitting 10 weeks of age and Gizmo to follow on Saturday.

The comeback of bald eagles in Colorado has been the result of both natural recovery and targeted efforts.
