South Bend, Ind. – Notre Dame offensive lineman Pat Coogan, who started 26 games over the last two seasons and often served as the team's pregame hype man, is transferring. Coogan announced his intentions on social media Thursday and will have one year of eligibility remaining as a graduate transfer.

After coming up just just shy of winning the 2024-25 CFP national championship, the Notre Dame football team is also losing their general manager. According to multiple reports, Fighting Irish GM Chad Bowden is headed to the University of Southern California to serve in the same role.
