The field for the upcoming 2025 Home Run Derby underwent a late-hour change Saturday, as Matt Olson of the host Atlanta Braves was announced as a replacement for teammate Ronald Acuña Jr., who will no longer participate.
The Braves' All-Star right fielder will no longer take part in the exhibition after back tightness sidelined him earlier this week.
Matt Olson will replace Atlanta Braves teammate and fellow All-Star Ronald Acuna Jr. in Monday's Home Run Derby. This marks Olson's second Home Run Derby after he participated in 2021 when he was with the Oakland Athletics.
