An attack on the Nuseirat camp in Central Gaza on Friday has killed 33 people, including eight children. The latest violence brings the number of children killed in the war-torn-region to just over 160 a month.

The strike came just hours after US President Joe Biden’s national security adviser raised hopes about a ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas and that would end more than a year of war in the Strip.
