Twelve people have been charged in Massachusetts in a huge theft ring involving expensive cars at dealerships in three states over the last year-and-a-half.

Authorities arrested and arraigned 12 people suspected of participating in a luxury car theft enterprise across southern Massachusetts, Attorney General Andrea Campbell’s office said in a statement.

The Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office announced that 12 people are facing charges in connection with a high-end car theft ring.

A dozen people were arrested and one more remains wanted on an outstanding warrant as investigators in Massachusetts cracked down on what they described as a high-end car theft ring, according to the Attorney General’s Office.
