Flash Flood Warnings and a Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect on Thursday as severe weather, thunderstorms and flooding concerns threaten the Washington, D.C. region.

Authorities say they recorded five cases of flooding, including in Sai Kung, with drainage efforts already finished at the affected locations.
