Chelsea have been handed a major boost in their bid to sell Christopher Nkunku to Bayern Munich this summer. The France international has been deemed surplus to requirements by the Stamford Bridge hierarchy and he is expected to leave west London on a permanent deal before the end of Transfer Deadline Day on 1 September.

Christopher Nkunku has approved a move to Bayern Munich but the Bundesliga champions still face a battle to reach a transfer agreement with Chelsea. Chelsea have put Nkunku up for sale this summer after another underwhelming season for the French forward at Stamford Bridge.

Boehly has again splashed the cash in this transfer window, signing the likes of Liam Delap and Joao Pedro. This leaves Nkunku looking for a move away, and his former club RB Leipzig are favourites with betting sites to sign the Frenchman.
