Fans of The Voice want “one more night” with Adam Levine and Blake Shelton - and they got it. Well, sort of. Viewers who watched the Season 27 premiere of the NBC singing competition show Monday were in for quite a surprise when the retired coach made a return to the show in a stealthy way.

Original Voice coach Adam Levine was back in the famous red chair alongside returning coaches John Legend and Michael Bublé and brand-new coach Kelsea Ballerini. The four showed a competitive spirit right from the very start when 20-year-old Grace-Miller Moody from Florence, South Carolina, kicked things off with a bang.

And when The Voice Season 27 premieres on February 3, there will be another one: Kelsea Ballerini, the Grammy-nominated pop singer who is making her full-time coaching debut. She’s not the only star being welcomed to the podium this go-round: Returning favorite Adam Levine will again join the coaching panel of the long-running series after a five-year absence.
