Alyssa Thomas keeps breaking WNBA records and has a real chance at being named league MVP for the first time if the Mercury can keep winning games.

Alyssa Thomas had 18 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists to become the first WNBA player with three straight triple-doubles.

Referred to as a “walking triple-double” by longtime girls basketball coach Bill Wolf, Thomas was a superstar at Central Dauphin. She averaged 20.5 points per game, won 106 games over four years and ended her varsity career as the Rams’ all-time scoring leader with 2,289 points.
