Alex Pereira says Jiri Prochazka has earned a third opportunity to face him for the light heavyweight title following UFC 311.

The former UFC light heavyweight champion brutally knocked out Jamahal Hill with a third-round barrage Saturday at UFC 311 inside the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. The knockout puts him back on the winning track following a second loss to UFC light heavyweight titleholder Alex Pereira in June 2024.

After suffering a second loss to light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira in July, Prochazka (31-6-1 MMA, 5-2 UFC) needed to get his hand raised. He got the job done with a TKO victory over Hill (13-2 MMA, 6-3 UFC) in the featured bout at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, Calif.
