A 53-year-old man from Alameda County has been arrested in connection with the sexual assault of a child in San Jose, police said.

The four suspects were arrested on Thursday and Saturday. They are being held in Santa Clara County Main Jail without bail.

The case is believed to be the first prosecution of transgender domestic violence homicide in Santa Clara County.
